Plain-language summary: This is a coming-soon website with a waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we collect what you type into the form so we can send you QuillTide updates. We don't sell your data. Who this covers

This policy applies to the QuillTide marketing website and its waitlist signup. It does not describe the QuillTide desktop application, which is still in development. A separate policy will accompany the app when it is released.

What we collect

Waitlist details you provide — such as your name or preferred name, email address, whether you're an author or reader, your platform (macOS or Windows), the features you're interested in, your interest in beta testing, and an optional social handle.
Basic technical data — like general analytics or server logs that a static host (such as Cloudflare Pages) or an embedded form provider may record. Update this section to match the tools you actually use.

How the waitlist form works

The waitlist form is provided by a third-party form service (for example, Tally). When you submit it, your responses are processed by that provider on our behalf. Please review the form provider's own privacy policy for details of how they handle submissions.

How we use your information

To send you development updates, beta opportunities, and launch news about QuillTide.
To understand what future users are interested in so we can prioritise features.
To contact you if you expressed interest in beta testing.

We do not sell your personal information.

Keeping in touch

If we send email updates, every message will include a way to unsubscribe. You can ask us to remove your details from the waitlist at any time by contacting us (see below).

Third-party links

This site links to external services such as social media and, at launch, a store page. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Children

This website and waitlist are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the project develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
